Home Federal Savings & Loan Association of Nebraska received its Federal Charter on November 4, 1953. Over the years, Home Federal has grown through acquisition of branch offices in Hastings, Holdrege and Superior.
The Hastings location was chartered in 1896 with the original name of Home Federal Savings and Loan Association and then in December 1984 it was merged into Home Federal Savings and Loan Association of Nebraska.
The Holdrege office was originally chartered in 1918 doing business as Holdrege Savings and Loan Association which in January 1980 was merged into Commercial Federal. In May 1985 it was purchased by Home Federal Savings and Loan Association of Nebraska.
Superior office was chartered in 1889 with the original name of First Federal Savings and Loan Association, then in December 1984 it was merged into Home Federal Savings and Loan Association of Nebraska.
