Home Federal makes changing your accounts hassle free. To assist you with this process, we've compiled all the necessary forms into one convenient place. Here's how:

  1. Open a Home Federal Account
    • Open a Home Federal account by visiting any of our convenient locations. Bring your picture identification, your social security number, and your initial deposit.
  2. Transfer your automatic payments and direct deposits to your Home Federal account by completing the forms below.
    • Complete the Direct Deposit Change Form to inform your employer and/or other organizations that have direct deposit of your new Home Federal account.
    • Change any automatic payments. If you have any monthly payments, such as utility or loan payments automatically deducted from your account you can use the
      Account Change Form to inform these companies of your new account information.
  3. Close Your Old Account
    • Destroy checks, ATM/debit cards and deposit slips from your old bank when you receive your Home Federal debit card and PIN (Personal Identification Number) and checks.
    • Let outstanding checks or automatic payments clear. This may take over a week.
    • Use the Account Closing Form to notify your old financial institution to close your account.
